Trainee/Intern Programme
All you need to know!!!!!
For students who have completed their tertiary education in the hotel industry but do not yet have formal work experience in their sector, the internship program is ideal. This fascinating program will provide you with strong intercultural interaction skills and an international standard of professionalism like no other. During the course of the 12 to 18 months internship program, you will undoubtedly acquire vital experience in hospitality-related fields like hotel management, food and beverage preparation, and tourism management. The internship program offers you an alluring remuneration package along with a full accommodation subsidy!!
Two tiers to the Internship Programme – Trainee and Intern
Trainee – Tier 1
You qualify for this if you have an associate degree or degree from a university or other post-secondary educational institution that was awarded more than 12 months before your start date (work date overseas), along with one year of work experience in the relevant field outside of the United States; alternatively, if you lack a degree in the relevant field but have at least five years of experience in the field outside of the United States, you qualify.
Participants are required to return home after completing their training in order to use the knowledge and skills they have gained to further their professions and share their experiences.
Intern - Tier 2
If you received your university degree or associate degree during the year before the start date, then this pertains to you. There would be no need for prior experience in the area of interest.
Participants in exchange programs are expected to return home after the program is over. The formal academic system and real-world work experience are combined in this program. Recognizing that interns are looking for entry-level training and experience is something that all parties engaged in the internship program should do. Consequently, each internship must be customized to the intern's specific abilities and experience level in order to help them advance their careers and engage their communities.
